Palouse Leopard ~ 12"x10" ~ Sanders Galleries

Originally bred by the Nez Perce along the Palouse River, these spotted horses came to be known as Appaloosas. Coat patterns vary and this one with brown spots all over is known as a Leopard Appaloosa. His striking pattern makes him a prized horse for a Native American warrior.
