Saguaro Pair ~ The Marshall Gallery

Saguaro cacti stand tall in the desert, each one spaced a respectful distance apart, joyfully waving at each other with their raised arms. At least, that's how I see them. These two sentinels caught my eye on a recent visit to the Tucson area. Multiple arms suggests that they are old timers who have seen a thing or two in their many years on this planet.

My recent explorations of abstract art have allowed me to interpret them with a freedom of paint application and imagined colors that bring a new perspective to these ancient sentinels.
