SOLD Wrapped in a buffalo robe and wearing a buffalo headdress adorned with eagle feathers, he is a brave buffalo hunter and a good provider for his family. The buffalo were at the heart of life for the plains tribes, providing food, shelter, clothing, tools, and a way of life. In this painting, the life force of the buffalo rises symbolically like a red glow from grandmother earth.
