Refund policy

Returns
We understand that purchasing original art online can be daunting. If you would like the option to purchase an original painting on approval, please contact us to arrange this. You will be required to pay for the painting and any return shipping. Once you receive it, you will have 14 days to decide if you are happy with your painting. If you wish to return it within that time, let us know and we will send you a return label and shipping instructions. You will need to repack the painting exactly as you received it in the same box. Once we receive the painting in new condition, we will issue you with a refund of the purchase price minus the cost of return shipping.  

Returns or replacements for print editions and other merchandise are generally only accepted if your item arrives faulty or damaged, and must be claimed within seven days of receipt of the shipment. Please keep all packaging and send photos of the damage with your claim by email to krystii@krystiimelaine.com.

If you feel the color or some other condition of the product is not as you expected, please contact us to discuss the issue. We want you to be happy with your fine art purchase and will do whatever we can to make it right for you. Please take care when ordering, and make sure your screen colors are accurately calibrated. 

To be eligible for a return or replacement, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging if that packaging is undamaged.

You must contact us to receive approval of a return before sending your item back. We will send you a return shipping label and instructions on how to ship your item.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will assess your refund. 
If you are approved for a refund, it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a reasonable time. 

Exchanges
We generally only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange your item, please contact us to ensure a replacement is available, as many products are unique items.

Return Shipping
To return your product, please contact us to determine the best method and carrier. 

If your item is damaged, we will usually cover the return shipping or ask you to dispose of the damaged item. For all other returns, you will usually be responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you choose to return a product and we have arranged the return shipping for you, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
