I began this series in early April 2020 as a response to the world shutting down. Initially I needed a sense of order as normal life seemed to fall apart, and the organized composition was calming and reassuring to work on. As time went on, the orderly spacing of dots came to represent all of us facing a challenging time together while experiencing it apart. I hope you find these paintings calmly reassuring as I do.
