SOLD A flock of these sweet little lemon birds entertained me last summer outside my Spokane studio window. I knew I had to paint them more than once, and this is the second time I've delighted in their lemon forms with smart black markings. They are a memento of my last summer in that studio that I loved so much, painted in my little interim studio in Cody. I've given them an abstracted tangle of stems and dried flowerheads to perch on in this sunny painting.
