The late afternoon sun created a glowing aura around this beautiful child as she waited to dance. Relaxed and staring off into the distance, one hand idly plays with an otter fur braid-wrap.
I subdued all of the bright colors of her clothing and corn husk hat to emphasize her delicate face and lovely expression.
Painted in oils on Belgian linen mounted on Gatorboard panel.
