Wolves inhabit our most remote mountain forests and are the ultimate predators of the wilderness. Once persecuted but now assisted to repopulate, they are still limited to those areas that don’t conflict with humans. They are fearsome creatures of myth and legend and yet they seem familiar to us, with faces so like our beloved canine companions. This wolf calmly surveys his domain, standing strong, wild, and free.
