A Blackfoot man looks back at us over his shield. Surrounded by eagle feathers and blue wool cloth, his shield is painted with a buffalo leaping over water, with rain falling from the sky above. Split buffalo horns adorn his ermine headdress with a trailer of eagle feathers.
