Nitsinnaihtsiiyihpinnaana - We Made A Treaty, Blackfeet 30" x 30" - Mountain Trails Galleries

Seated inside a tipi and lit from the central fire, this Blackfeet man has just made a treaty. He holds the tribe's ceremonial peace pipe adorned with eagle feathers, and wears a bear claw necklace. We don't know who he has made the treaty with, nor whether both parties will honor it, but for now there is peace between them.
