Four chickens gather in the shade of their chicken house on a hot, sunny day. The peeling turquoise paint contrasts with their red wattles and various feather colors. The sunlight illuminating the golden chicken and the beautiful reflected light bouncing back into her shadow was the inspiration for this painting of feathered friends.
