A newly married couple prepare to leave their home for a frontier town in the wild west. As the mother hugs her daughter one last time, men load their possessions on the mud wagon that will carry them over rough trails to their new home. Life was uncertain in those wild days, but the feelings of leaving home and family behind to build a new life are the same today as they ever were.
