A bull buffalo rests near the Firehole River in Yellowstone National Park. The vibrant colors of the algae growing in the warm water of the river inspired the colors of this painting. For me, this painting brings back memories of exploring the amazing thermal features of Yellowstone and chancing upon the majestic wild animals who call the park home.
