SOLD My challenge in this painting was to capture a lemon bird on yellow flowers in golden light. I wanted that warm glow over everthing that a magical sunset can create. Maybe this sort of light only happens in my imagination, but wouldn't it be lovely if the world really did look this golden at special moments?
