This magnificent Longhorn saw me watching him and seemed to pose for me, slowly turning his head this way and that to catch the sunlight and show off his fancy headgear to best effect. With his rich brown coat and cute freckles, he certainly is as handsome as he thinks he is!
Provenance: Exhibited at the Briscoe Western Art Museum, San Antonio, Texas in March 2019.
Painted in oils on Belgian linen mounted on Gatorboard panel.
