Head In The Clouds ~ 24" x 12"

Taking a minimalist approach, my aim was to create something quiet, calm and thoughtful. What do the lines represent, is that really a band of grey mist above, and who has their head in the clouds? This little painting could dwell in a small space, reminding people to pause and take a breath whenever they chance upon it. 

Fine texture and a subtle opalescent sheen contrast with the catch of the oil pastel on the surface, adding visual delight for the observant.
