SOLD ~ Heart and Soul ~ Quest for the West
- Unit Price
SOLD She's the heart and soul of her family. She has the heart and soul of a pioneering woman, carving a life out of this tough western landscape for her husband and children. Her battered old hat has been with her on every adventure through rain, snow and sunshine. She wears a large bandana that doubles as a warming shawl or something to carry a child or baby animal in. Her leather vest is strong enough to last through rough ranch chores. But still she wears a clean white shirt and takes pride in being neat and tidy in her demanding life. She is an inspiration to all who know her.
Painted in oils on Belgian linen mounted on panel.
Brushed champagne silver frame.
Painting size: 30" x 18" (76 cm x 46 cm)
Sold by luck of the draw at Quest for the West at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 9, 2023.
