SOLDA handsome sorrel horse with blonde mane waits patiently at an old fence to begin work for the day. The well-worn saddle that has been repaired in places shows that the partnership between horse and cowboy runs deep. Pricked ears and alert eyes indicate that the cowboy is nearby and action is imminent. I love painting the subtle nuances of shining horses and old leather, hinting at untold stories and wonderful histories.
