SOLD In the warming air of spring, tiny insects begin their dance of life. Old winter coats are shed as the bison gather in wide valleys to graze together on the new grass. The cycle of life awakens to another journey around the sun.
Each being has their part to play in the whole ecosystem, from the largest animals to the tiniest insect. I’ve tried to convey some of this through the abstracted background of this portrait.
Painted in oils on Belgian linen mounted on panel.
