I love hearing the coyotes howling at night in the fields around us. I know they can be a nuisance if you have chickens, but to me it's a comforting sound. Knowing there are completely wild animals living with us makes me feel connected to the untamed mountains we call home. This one posed for a portrait with a beautiful turn of his head.
